Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire (February 27, 2010 - Toronto ON). Pointe Claire is an unassuming neighborhood located on the West Island, which is part of Montreal's island. Many people who don't know they mistakenly believe they are on the West Island extends westward from Montreal. Actually it is the West Island includes everything westward from Lachine. Lachine. Amanda Brugel was born there, but her time was not long in the city. Brugel lived in Courtice, just outside of Oshawa. The teacher she had at high school was what pushed her in the right direction. The teacher who suggested she take on a part in the school's annual production. It was her choice to take on the principal role for Anne of Green Gables after she tried out. Following her award of the Fine Arts Talent Scholarship, she enrolled in York University and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in 2000. For the past twenty years, Brugel's roles on TV and the big screen have been varied. Her role as Rita from the award-winning show The Handmaid's Tale was her most memorable. Brugel made an appearance on only a handful of occasions in the first season of the show The Handmaid's Tale. She was the sole Canadian participant.
