Selena Gomez has a worldwide reputation as an actor and a singer. One of the projects she's been a part of that has had the greatest successful was the Disney series Wizards of Waverly Place. The full title of Selena Gomez is Selena Marie Gomez. Born on July 22 on 1993 in Grand Prairie Texas. Parents are Amanda Cornett and Ricardo Gomez. Selena's mom was 16 years old at the time she was born. At the age of 9 Selena was able to make her debut in the showbiz industry by playing Gianna in Barney and her Friends. Through this she was among the thousands of kids who've had the opportunity to interact with the anthropomorphic purple dinosaur, which is now well-known in the world of science fiction. Selena was a part of the show's the seasons 7 and 8. She worked between 2001-2003. Selena Gomez was not the only performer to be featured in Barney and His Friends from 2001 to 2003. Demi Lorvato joined the group as well. Selena Gomez, after she left the TV series, auditioned unsuccessfully for several films and other television shows. Following the end of the show, Selena auditioned for roles in various other film and television shows, but did not have much success. Also, in 2006 she played Emily Grace Garcia on the Brain Zapped television program. For this role, she composed a tune.
