Bernadette Peters (born Bernadette Lazzara on 28 February 1948) is an American performer and actress as well as a children's author who hails from Ozone Park Queens New York . Her long career that spanned more than five decades. She has appeared in shows, made solo recordings as well as appeared on TV. She's one of Broadway's most acclaimed actors.
